The father of a 9-year-old has been charged with murder in the second degree and concealment of a human corpse after he allegedly murdered his daughter in upstate New York.

An Amber Alert issued for 9-year-old Melina Galanis Frattolin was canceled after her body was found in Ticonderoga, New York.

Television station WNYT in Albany is reporting that 9-year old Melina Galanis Frattolin, the object of an Amber Alert issued this morning, has been found dead. The station cites sources confirming that she was found deceased.

Amber Alert was issued after Melina's father, Luciano Frattolin, reported her missing to Warren County 911. Both are Canadian residents.
