Ole Miss announced the death of freshman Corey Adams on social media on July 20. According to a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Adams, 18, was a homicide victim. According to the police, around 10:14 p.m. on July 19, a shooting occurred outside a residence on Fern Glade Cove in Cordova, Tennessee.
