Officials told FOX 2 that they responded to the area of Bramell and Puritan at 2 a.m. on Sunday where they say someone unloaded a gun into a home, hitting an 11-year-old boy several times inside.

A Detroit man has been charged in connection with a shooting with an unsecured handgun that wounded his 18-year-old brother this week, officials said. Geris Edward Gordon, 26, was arraigned Wednesday in 36th District Court in Detroit, the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office said.
The Garden City man accused in a road rage-related shooting in Flushing last fall pleaded guilty to lesser charges Thursday in local circuit court. WJRT-TV reported Paul Andrew Peake, 47, was alleged to be involved in a road rage incident that escalated into a shooting in late September 2024 in the 100 block of Main Street downtown.
Police in Taylor, Michigan, are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday night. Officials said the incident happened around 9 p.m., and officers "responded quickly to the scene." As of Sunday afternoon, police haven't released any other details.
