When the KissCam at a Coldplay concert last week landed on a couple who suspiciously escaped their embrace and tried (but failed) to duck out of the spotlight, the internet immediately got to work.
On Thursday, a spokesperson for the Astronomer confirmed Cabot's exit from the tech firm. On July 18, Astromer had announced that they had launched a formal investigation into the matter that quickly went viral on social media. Byron and Cabot, at the heart of the situation, were placed on leave.
The tech company’s former CEO, Andy Byron, stepped down from his role on July 19, days after he was seen embracing Cabot on a jumbotron at a recent Coldplay concert.
