Two-time Pro Bowl player Jaylon Johnson is one of four Bears players who won’t be ready for the start of training camp. The Bears cornerback was put on the non-football injury list Saturday alongside three others — backup quarterback Case Keenum, running back Ian Wheeler and wide receiver Jahdae Walker.
Mills isn’t getting activated any time soon given he tore his ACL in January, so really the focus is on Alexander, as is justified given his tremendous last name. The former LSU corner is considered someone with a real shot to make the 53-man roster as one of John Schneider’s annual undrafted gems.
