Subaru is building up a proper EV lineup between the Solterra, Uncharted, and the Trailseeker, each offering a slightly different electric driving experience.

Subaru hasn’t confirmed how much the 2026 Uncharted or 2026 Solterra will cost yet, but the newer one is virtually guaranteed to be the brand’s cheapest EV. The FWD version has less power and is smaller than the Solterra, and Subaru specifically stated it’s coming in “at a lower price point.”

In appearance, the Uncharted looks similar to the recently revealed Toyota C-HR. Given their shared tech and architecture, it’s likely that the Uncharted is basically a cousin to the C-HR. (A Subaru spokesperson didn’t respond to questions about the shared platform.)
