FIP president Captain CS Randhawa accused the two foreign media outlets of not basing their reports on factual content while highlighting the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau's (AAIB) preliminary report on Air India-171 plane crash.

The NTSB criticized media coverage of the Air India Flight 171 crash preliminary report as premature and speculative. This follows the AAIB's release of its initial findings, which cited engine failure and cockpit confusion after takeoff from Ahmedabad.

Sources familiar with the black boxes recovered from the crash have disclosed another conversation between the two pilots that died in the Air India crash.
