Severe weather was to blame for a series of crashes on Friday along Interstate 75 that involved about 50 vehicles.

Major crash on I-75 in Ocala results in 7 people hospitalized

The crashes occurred on several parts of South I-75, including a nearly 20-vehicle collision north of Exit 254, Ocala Fire Rescue said.
