YouTube TV proposes to reinstate ABC and ESPN as negotiations continue — here's what we know
YouTube would like to restore ABC and ESPN while the two companies negotiate, saying, "We propose immediately restoring the Disney channels that our customers watch: ABC and the ESPN networks, while we continue to negotiate. Those are the channels that people want."
After a previous deal between the companies lapsed, certain channels went dark on the streamer at the end of October.
ESPN is coming under fire for its role in the Disney-YouTube contract dispute, with Barstool’s Dan “Big Cat” Katz slamming the company for its part in the drama, while Pat McAfee has called out his employer over its messaging in the mess that is preventing sports fans from watching ESPN content on YouTube TV.
