Luis Diaz's future on Merseyside remains in some doubt as Bayern Munich plans another transfer bid, with Liverpool still standing firm that the winger is not for sale

Bayern’s pursuit of Diaz has been going on simultaneously with their unsuccessful efforts to sign Nick Woltemade from VfB Stuttgart, who are driving a hard bargain and have been reluctant to listen to any of Bayern’s offers thus far. For now, they are stepping away from the Woltemade efforts and solely focusing on Diaz.

Bayern have also identified Lyon winger Malick Fofana as an alternative and made an enquiry to learn the terms of his deal in case they fail to secure the Liverpool star's signing, according to Fabrizio Romano.
