Colorado head coach Deion Sanders isn't "all the way recovered" from the health issue that has limited his day-to-day duties with the Buffaloes.

Sanders spent his recovery time at his home in Texas and previously said he would provide an update upon his return to campus at Colorado. When asked about his situation at Big 12 Media Days, he shot down a question from The Athletic's David Ubben.

Colorado athletic director Rick George told The Athletic at Big 12 media days that he expected Sanders to return to campus “in a week or two, probably.” George said the two had been in constant contact since Sanders left campus to deal with his health and recover at his ranch in Canton, Texas, in late April.
