Japan built a massive underground flood system near Tokyo to redirect water and protect millions from severe flooding.
They call it the "Tokyo Underground Cathedral" and the "Tokyo Parthenon" because of its monumentality. But, in reality, it is a fabulous work of engineering to prevent flooding in Japan's main city.
