One person is dead and six others are missing after the fishing vessel Lily Jean sank off the coast of Gloucester, Massachusetts.

With one person found and six still missing from a sunken Gloucester fishing boat, Coast Guard crews are battling brutal seas and freezing spray as they search into Friday night.

"I hope everyone takes a step back and really looks at sacrifices these men make on a day to day basis just to put food on our table," a friend of the captain said.
