From a new hinge rated for thousands of folds to a redesigned camera, here's how Samsung engineered the Fold 7 and made it ultra-thin.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is available July 25, starting at $1,999. That entry price will get you a Fold 7 with 256GB of storage, but you can of course pay a little more to get more space. You can upgrade the storage all the way up to 1TB, which will set you back $2,419.

The news is a little better for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, as it saw a more substantial gain in our battery life test over the previous Samsung flip phone. That said, some of Motorola's foldable flip phones continue to outlast Samsung's offerings.
