Sony is suing Tencent over Light of Motiram, the publisher's open-world survival game that looks an awful lot like Horizon Zero Dawn.

Sony Interactive has sued Tencent for copyright and trademark infringement in California federal court, accusing the Chinese tech conglomerate of ripping off its popular "Horizon" series of adventure video games.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has filed a lawsuit against Chinese tech giant Tencent. The accusation: Tencent's upcoming game Light of Motiram is an almost identical copy of the successful Horizon series.
