"The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 10 p.m. for south central Virginia," according to the NWS Blacksburg VA.

Until our cold front passes through later today we will be stuck with warm and humid feels for our Sunday. We also run the risk of an isolated gusty thunderstorm to get into the area. Once we get on the other side of this front we will dry up, cool off, and get a lot more comfortable going into the work week.
