Sovereignty continued his reign among 3-year-olds with a victory in the Jim Dandy on a weekend that saw Breeders' Cup contenders in action hither and yon.

It was more of the same for Sovereignty in the traditional local prep race for the Travers Stakes, as he continued to execute his trainer’s 3-year-old-campaign plan in flawless style.

Sovereignty, the winner of both the Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes, proved once more that he is the best 3-year-old in the country on Saturday with a win in the Grade 2 Jim Dandy Stakes.
