Bridgerton star Simone Ashley will appear in the follow-up to the 2006 film, which saw Anne Hathaway's Andy Sachs put through her paces as assistant to Editor-in-Chief Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) of glossy fashion magazine Runway.

The duo joined original stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci which has director David Frankel returning as well as scribe Aline Brosh McKenna. In fact, the sequel reps a reunion for McKenna and Bloom, as the two co-created Crazy Ex-Girlfriend together.
