We explore the use of a simple genetic algorithm that automates construction of Shinro puzzles with desirable qualities which improve their entertainment value.

This book contains 616 Shinro puzzles, divided among six sections. Puzzles at the beginning of each section are easy, and the puzzles increase in difficulty as you work through the section.
