Albuquerque - Today at around 8AM, the Albuquerque Police Department got a call about a shooting on the far southwest west mesa area near 122nd and Avalon Road SW. APD officers responded to the scene near the Flying J Truck Stop for reports about the shooting. APD found a person with a gunshot wound and already deceased on scene. The jurisdiction of the homicide was in Bernalillo County Sheriff's area and APD handed the case over to BCSO detectives for follow-up. BCSO confirmed they are working
