By inscribing and circumscribing regular polygons around a circle, one can calculate their perimeters to establish upper and lower bounds for the circle’s circumference. The perimeter of the inscribed polygon offers a lower estimate, while the perimeter of the circumscribed polygon gives an upper estimate.
