I MADE NANDO'S PERI PERI CHICKEN FOR MY FAMILY 😋 Peri Peri sauce was introduced to Africa by the portuguese. It is a spicy sauce with African bird's eye 🌶️ chilies as its base. It also needs a little bit of brown sugar for sweetness and some freshly squeezed lemon to lighten the sauce. I made my own version with some ingredients I had at home and it turned out great. Will be making it again using roasted bell peppers and roasted onions with the birds eye chilies instead of the habanero I used.
