Trains will run all night on New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day on the A, B, D and E Lines, while the C and K Lines will operate until 2 a.m. Rides on bus, rail, @bikemetro and Metro Micro will be free! This annual tradition helps riders enjoy festivities without the worry of traffic, parking or driving under the influence, making Metro the safest, stress-free way to travel this holiday season. Special night for a true Giant in Canton and Illini history. Dave Downey Court is dedicated tonight in Canton at Alice Ingersoll Gym. Dave is a 1959 Canton grad and Canton hall of famer and a 1963 Illini grad and Illini hall of famer. So so wonderful to meet so many of his family members tonight and they all said how much tonight mean to Dave. I did some interviews and will run a story next week. But, a tremendous job by Canton Athletic Director Brad Hulet for a wonderful ceremony to honor Dave
